YEAR END GOODWILL MESSAGE 2016

IT IS YET ANOTHER YEAR END 2016

It is yet another end of year. The year 2016 is gradually rolling over to give way to year 2017. In times like this, there is need for retrospection and introspection.

I feel humbled to lead this Commission, The National Lottery Regulatory Commission in these years passed, and to have achieved the much we have within this period. Any and all of our modest achievements could not have been possible if not of the grace of God and the support of amiable and selfless staff of the Commission.

Let me therefore use this opportunity to thank God for seeing us through this year 2016. Though there were few skirmishes here and there, but by His grace we were able to surmount all. I will also not forget to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all staff of the Commission for the show of understanding, and various contributions towards taking the Commission to the point we are today. I thank all the Management staff and the leadership of the Staff Union for all the support given at various times. We are one big family; The NLRC Family.

Recall that year 2016 was our year of Expansion and Hard work. We set forth to achieve four (4) major goals viz:

  1. To complete the automation processes of NLRC operations
  2. To have our own office accommodations
  3. To be the highest revenue generating government agency in Nigeria
  4. To improve the general welfare of all NLRC Staff

Although some of these may not have yet manifested in a manner that all may see, God has taken us very far in each of the above. Major milestones have been achieved in all cases. I believe that before the end of the first quarter of 2017 results will become very obvious and we all will have cause to give God all the glory.

Year 2017 is our year of “Visible Glory”. We shall all endeavour to consolidate on the gains recorded so far, and on the basis of which, by the grace of God, the NLRC will be launched into prominence. There is not any doubt in my spirit that we are on course, and let not the heart of any man fail. God is working out His divine purpose, and with your support and cooperation, we will certainly get there and we shall all celebrate

Let us therefore continually pray for the Commission and our nation, Nigeria

Merry Christmas and a better year 2017 ahead

God bless you all

God bless NLRC

God bless our nation Nigeria.
